Where there is Ranolazine? For Ranolazine, a lot of people don't know much about it, and here's the introduction:
Ranolazine use per unit of oxygen and glucose metabolism capacity more than fatty acid metabolism capacity, then by using fatty acid metabolism capacity to use glucose metabolic capacity, make the heart using oxygen to do more work, so as to reduce the possibility of angina pectoris attack. Given these new mechanisms, oral Ranolazine doesn't cause heart rate and blood pressure to decline. It also protects against lactic acidosis, which greatly enhances the use of safety.
A new mechanism: the existing treatment of angina drugs is done by directly reducing the amount of cardiac work (heart rate and/or blood pressure). Ranolazine is an inhibitor of pFOX (part fatty acid oxidase), which changes heart metabolism to reduce heart oxygen demand. Heart metabolism is the use of oxygen-oxidized fatty acids or glucose.
