What is Michelia champaca oil?

Michelia champaca oil is extracted using solvent extraction method from the flower of the large evergreen sub-tropical tree native to South Asia. The flower is considered very precious in India, popilarly known as golden champa.The yellow or white flower of Champaca has strong fragrance. The tree is primarily cultivated for timber. The Champaca oil is reddish brown in colour and is transparent and blends beautifully with flowers such as Carnation, Rose and Violet.
Application    
Used in certain high class perfumes to produce uinque, warm,floral-leafy note. Also used as a modifier for Floral Accords
