Kathon CG or isothiazolinone is a mixture of two chemicals (Chloro-2-methyl-A-isothiazolin-3-one & 2-methyl-4-isothiaszolin-3-one). It is a widely used preservative in cosmetics and commercial household prducts. It is also used as an highly-developed preservative for carving fluids.
